Loan of books, serials, etc.

Monash South Africa campus staff, students, alumni and visitors are eligible to borrow items from the Library and Learning Commons according to their Loan priviledges.

Loan of Notebook PCs

Notebook PCs are available for daily loan to library users. These notebook PCs are to be used within the campus and can be borrowed from the loan desk. For details, refer to Guidelines on loan notebook PC.

Library account: My loans

You may use your library account to:

view the items you have on loan and the respective due dates,
place a hold,
renew library items,
Check on outstanding fines.

Photocopying, printing and scanning

It is your responsibility to abide by the copyright act. A section of the Act is displayed near each copy machine.

Your student card is required before copying or printing can take place.
Your card is debited at a rate of 40c for black and white and R1.50c for colour, each time a copy is made.
To add credit to your student card you must visit Student Services or add credit by making use of the vending machine located on the ground floor.
Contact Student Services for a replacement if your card is lost.
Please DO NOT use damaged cards in the photocopiers. Contact the Library for a replacement card.
Most photocopiers can reduce, and enlarge, and make double-sided copies.
All photocopiers come with standard A4 paper

Scanning A scanner is available in the reserve section for scanning of documents. You need a Monash email account to use this service.
